Harvin didn't elaborate on the "situations," but said they must be resolved before he reports to camp. Coach Leslie Frazier didn't sound concerned, saying the two will "talk it through." Harvin currently stands to make a total of just $2.465 million under the final two years of his rookie deal. Only one month removed from his 24th birthday, Harvin was the No. 7 fantasy receiver last season. With Adrian Peterson (knee surgery) questionable for Week 1, the Vikings can ill-afford to lose their No. 1 wideout to a holdout.

"(His) snaps may go up," Frazier said in a Friday radio interview. "Touches, I don't know about that. We want to keep him on the field more, but his style — he's a reckless guy and doesn't hold anything back. It's always goes 100 miles an hour. So you have to be careful about not overusing him." Harvin touched the ball on 139 of his 621 snaps last season. A desire for increased snaps/touches was believed to be one of the reasons behind Harvin's now resolved minicamp episode. Even if the bump is modest, we expect Harvin to see more snaps in 2012. He's the No. 20 receiver in our initial rankings.

Vikings coach Leslie Frazier on Friday left the door open for Percy Harvin (ankle) to play in Week 10, despite his doubtful listing.

"He still has ... a little less than 48 hours to have a chance to continue to improve," Frazier said. "He'll continue to get treatment. If it comes to it, we would definitely work him out before the game and get him out there if it's possible. ... He'd have to make quite a bit of recovery (Saturday) for us to say, 'OK, we'll wait until Sunday to see what you can do. But it's possible."

Vikings coach Leslie Frazier provided no real update Monday on the potential Week 13 availability of Percy Harvin (ankle).

Frazier expects to lean more as Harvin "continues to rehab" this week from an ankle that is sprained in three places. Harvin was not close to playing in Sunday's loss to the Bears. So despite his toughness, we're not overly optimistic about Harvin's chances of suiting up in Week 13 against the Packers.

Percy Harvin (ankle) participated in Wednesday's practice.

He was officially "limited." Per ESPN 1500's Tom Pelissero, Harvin "looked himself going straightline," but was limping coming out of his breaks. Pelissero's colleague Judd Zulgad reported Harvin did "not appear comfortable." It would be huge if Harvin could bounce-back to practice again on Thursday, but for now, he's looking like a game-time decision at best.

Percy Harvin (ankle) was officially "DNP" in Thursday's practice.

Per the St. Paul Pioneer Press, Harvin was limited to individual and group work, and did not practice with the offense. ESPN 1500's Judd Zulgad reports the Vikings will "see if they can get Harvin work Friday." The Minneapolis Star-Tribune believes it "seems like a stretch to think Harvin's recovery will accelerate dramatically in next 70 hours." In other words, the local media doesn't like Harvin's chances for Sunday. It's possible he'll end up a game-time decision, but owners need to be looking ahead to Week 14.

ESPN 1500 Twin Cities reports Percy Harvin's Week 9 left ankle injury was a Grade 3 sprain, which means a complete ligament tear.

The injury usually comes with a 4-6 week timetable, and Harvin is now in his fifth week of recovery. The Vikings were initially optimistic that Harvin could return Nov. 25 versus the Bears, but the pain has lingered and he's struggled to get in and out of his breaks. Harvin will reportedly attempt to practice on Wednesday and could play with a pain-killing injection on Sunday versus the Bears.
